RITES WEDNESDAY

Rev. A. J. Poeckes Will Offer Requiem Mass at St. Lawrence's

Herman K. Stallman, well-known Carroll business man, died at his home, 1003 North Carroll street, at 11:30 Sunday morning after a lingering illness. He had been confined to bed at his home since last October. Death claimed him at the age of fifty-two.

The body is resting at the Sharp Funeral Home until 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, when it will be returned to the family residence to repose until the time of the funeral services.

RITES WEDNESDAY

Rites are to be at 9 oçlock Wednesday morning at the St. Lawrence Church, with the Rev. A.J. Poeckes offering the requiem mass. Burial will be in the St. Joseph's cemetery.

Mr. Stallman, known to his friends as "Kelly," had been in the automobile business from 1915 until his retirement last fall. During the larger part of that time he was associated with Charles J. Loxterkamp of Carroll. March 1, 1915, they opened a hardware and automobile concern at Templeton. Disposing of the hardware business in 1920, they moved to Dedham, where they continued as partners in the automobile business until 1928, when they came to Carroll. They operated a garage here until Jan. 1., 1937, when Mr. Stallman bought out Mr. Loxterkamp's interest and became sole owner of the business, which he conducted under the name of the Stallman Motor Company until last November, when he sold out to Mike Wittrock because of his declining health.

The rosary will be recited by the Holy Name Society of the St. Lawrence Church at the Stallman's family home, 1003 North Carroll street, at 8 o'clock Tuesday evening.

Born May 21, 1889, at Petersburg, Neb., Mr. Stallman had lived in this vicinity since he was fourteen years old. He had been a painter at Roselle and Templeton before going into the automobile business.

June 3, 1919, he was married at Carroll to Miss Hilda Scharnweber. To them were born two children, a daughter, Maribeth and son, Donald.

Surviving with his wife and children are four brothers and three sisters: Joe Stallman, Harison, Neb; Theodore Stallman, Lusk, Wyo.; Barney Stallman, Manville, Wyo; Alvis Stallman, Kilgore, Tex.; Mrs. Jennie Herbers, Stuart, Neb.; Mrs. Mary Housh, Sioux City, and Mrs. Regina Crowell, Alhambra, Calif.

His parents and one sister preceded him in death.

Mr. Stallman was a member of the St. Lawrence Church and the Holy Name Society.

A World War veteran, he had been in service overseas for about a year. He was a member of Maurice Dunn Post No. 7 American Legion.

Mass of the Christian Burial for Mrs. Herman K. (Hilda) Stallman, 88, of Littleton, Colo., formerly of Carroll, who died Sunday, November 24, at Porters Hospital in Littleton, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, November 29, at St. Lawrence church in Carroll.

Ther Rev. Lawrence McCarty will be celebrant.  Brial, under the direction of the Sharp Funeral Home of Carroll, will be in Mount Olivet cemetery.  Serving as casketbearers will be John Heilder, Jim Waters, Marty Mattes, Mike Wittrock, Jim Kerwin and Marvin Loxterkamp.

Private visitation for the family will be held at the funeral home.

Mrs. Stallman is survived by a daughter, Maribeth Reimann, Littleton, Colo.; a son, Don Stallman, Minneapolis, Minn., three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and a sister, Edith Sweat, Melbourne, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Herman in July of 1941.

Mrs. Stallman was born in Carroll on June 12, 1897, a daughter of Henry and Margaret Harms Schwarnweber.  She was married to Herman K. Stallman on June 3, 1919 in Carroll.  

Her husband owned and operated the former Stallman Motor Company in Carroll from 1928 until 1940 when he sold the business to Mike Wittrock.  She has made her home in Littleton since 1964.  She was a member of All Souls Church in Littleton.

Samuel Lovett Dies; Funeral to be in Illinois

CENTRALIA -- Samuel Obed Lovett, 80, of Sturgeon died at his home yesterday afternoon after an extended illness.

A son of the late James and Mae Fristoe Lovett, he was born in St. James, Ill., on Aug. 2, 1889.  He was married to Louise Herbers on Dec. 15, 1933.  She survives.  Mr. Lovett was a retired farmer and had moved to the Sturgeon area 18 years ago from Illinois.  He was a member of the Methodist church.

Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Russell Roberts, Columbia [MO], and Mrs. Robert Howard, Moberly; four brothers, Lester, Wilson, Frank and Joe, all of San Elmo, Ill., two sisters Mrs. Anna Mae Roll, San Elmo; and Mrs. Melissa McEndollar, Loogotee (?), Ill. and five grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by one daughter.

The body is at the Meador Funeral home in Sturgeon.  Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Clinton, Ill.  Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Clinton.  The body will be taken to Illinois at 5 p.m. Sunday.

Rathdrum, Idaho—Memorial service for Kaye F. Leat, 68, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d'Alene. Mrs. Leat who was born in Ainsworth, Neb., died Monday. She lived in South Dakota and moved to the Northwest in the early 1960s. She lived in Clarkston, Wash., before settling in Rathdrum in 1968. Leat was a longtime member of the Kootenai County Saddle Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Merlin Leat in 1986, and companion, Vern Barnsley in 1998. Survivors include three sons, John Leat of Asotin, Wash., Tom Leat of Spokane and Gaty Leat of Hayden, Idaho; a daughter, Kaye Frisbie of Post Falls; a sister, Lois Hazeltine of Spokane; three brothers, Gene Pfeifer of Rathdrum, Joe Pfeifer of Modesto, Calif., and Frank Pfeifer of Arkansas. SPOKANE— Visitation for Jean (Russell) Herbers, 81, will be Saturday at 9 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Herbers, a lifelong resident of Spokane, died Wednesday. She was born in Fairfield [Washington].

She was a guild member at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and a parishioner there for 40 years. She later was a member of the Roman Catholic Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes. Mrs. Herbers enjoyed crocheting and playing bingo.

Survivors include two sons, Patrick and Daniel Herbers; and three grandchildren.

PANAMA–Clement "Clem" George Arkfeld, son of George and Mary (Siemer) Arkfeld, was born in Panama, Iowa, on July 18, 1922. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Panama, Iowa. He attended St. Mary's Grade School and graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1940. Clem's early years included work on the farm with his father and helping drill wells. His job with the well drilling business was to ride the horse that provided the power to drill. As time went on, Clem formed the company "Clem Arkfeld and Sons."

Clem married Mildred Schmitz on August 26, 1943 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Westphalia, Iowa. To this union 10 children were born. After his marriage, Clem continued in the well drilling business, adding new labor saving equipment to the process. This equipment included trenchers, back hoes, plumbing supplies, a new well machine to replace the horse and later a hydraulic machine with larger buckets. The business today serves a large part of Southwest Iowa and is operated by third generation family members. In 1980, he took over his uncle Ben's house moving business. In his younger years, he played basketball and baseball and later coached. He served Panama as mayor. He was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church of Panama, Third Degree Earling Council Knights of Columbus No. 1741, Luke E. Hart General Assembly Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus and its Chalice Club. He died November 17, 2006, a Little Flower Haven at age 84 years, three months and 30 days.

Clem is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers and sisters: Archbishop Leo Arkfeld, Florence Ohlinger, Vince Arkfeld and Lucille Arkfeld. He is survived by his wife, Mildred "Mick" Arkfeld of Panama; his children: Janet (Ralph) Kwapiszeski of Overland Park, KS, Edmund Arkfeld (Shirley) of Omaha, NE, Diane (Al) Vandenberg of Council Bluffs; Richard Arkfeld (Mary Kay) of Panama;, Mary Lou (Bill) Dewhurst of El Dorado Hills, CA; Gene Arkfeld (Mary Ann) of Colorado Springs, CO; Brian Arkfeld (Mary) of Westphalia; Vivian and (Michael) Cairney of Earlville; Jayme Arkfeld (Shirley) of Panama; and Sandy Thompson of Chandler, AZ; 32 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; brother and sisters, Sally Kohles of Harlan, Rita (John) Kelly of Woodbine; Sylvia (Jerry) Bissen of Earling; and George Arkfeld (Josephine) of Oceanside, CA; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Mass of Christian Burial was held Nov. 21, 2006 at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Panama with Rev. John Dorton celebrant. Honorary casket bearers were Lindsey Arkfeld and Melissa Arkfeld with Brad Kwapiszeski, Mike Arkfeld, Steve Cairney, Dave Arkfeld, Bob Dewhurst, Jesse Thompson, Paul Vandenberg and Jared Arkfeld casket bearers. Cletus Henry "C.H." Wittrock (1917-2010)

C.H. (Cletus) Wittrock, 92, of Okarche, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, June 17, 2010, at First Shamrock Care Center in Kingfisher, Oklahoma.

C.H. was born July 30, 1917, in Okarche, Okla., to Joe and Rose (Nieland) Wittrock.

On July 30, 1941, he married Loretta Alig and they lived in the Okarche community their entire lives. 

C.H.'s life was filled with his faith, his family, his wheat crops and his cattle.

C.H. was the proud father of four children, eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Rose Cook and her husband Carl of Oklahoma City; Jim and his wife Jan of Kingfisher; Louise Craig and her husband Norman of Yukon, and Juanita Krittenbrink and her husband Mike of Okarche. 

C.H's grandchildren include Teresa Harris and her husband Loren, Susan Schneberger and her husband Jake, Rebecca Green and her husband Mike, Andrea Wittrock, Bill Craig and his wife Suzanne, Jim Craig and his wife Lisa, Amy Dyer and her husband Tanner, and Ryan Krittenbrink. Great-grandchildren are Lindsey and Jay Harris, Blake Schneberger, Connor Green and Cora and Logan Craig. Cletus is also survived by his youngest brother, Carl of Oklahoma City, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Cletus was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta; his parents, Joe and Rose Wittrock, and five of his brothers and sisters, Herbert, Mildred Wittrock Pappe, Louis, Lawrence, and Rita Wittrock Forman.

C.H. was a lifetime member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church where he served as church usher and was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters. C.H. was also a member of various agricultural and livestock producer organizations. C.H. will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandpa, great-grandpa, brother, uncle and friend and neighbor to many. His greatest loves besides his faith, his family and his friends were his joys of fishing (including noodling), farming, gardening, playing cards and going to the coffee shop. 

Funeral services will be at Holy Trinity Catholic Church and interment at Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery, Okarche, under direction of Sanders Funeral Service in Kingfisher. 

Memorials may be made to the Center of Family Love in Okarche, OK or Holy Trinity Catholic Church Building Fund.

OMAHA -- Anna Marie (Schmitz) Arkfeld, 83, Omaha, died September 29 at Mercy Care Center. Services were held Monday, October 1 at 1 p.m. at Westcenter Chapel, to St. Margaret Mary Church at 1:30 p.m., with burial in the Resurrection Cemetery.

Arkfeld is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Colleen and Phil Gau of Portsmouth, Lolita and Ken Sonderman of LaHabra, Calif. and LaVonne and Robert Diers of Scottsdale, Az.; sons and daughters-in-law Dr. Donald Arkfeld and Dr. Sara E. Celestine Sally Arkfeld (1920-2007)

Celestine "Sally" Kohles was born June 26, 1920, to George and Mary (Siemer) Arkfeld in Panama, Iowa. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Mary’s of the Assumption Catholic Church in Panama. Sally graduated from St. Mary’s Catholic School in Panama and spent one year in college in Atchison, Kansas.

 Sally was united in marriage on June 18, 1941, to Delbert Kohles at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Panama, Iowa. Eight children were born to this union: Gary, Karen, Carol, Jerome "Speed", Michael, Joe, Ron, and Jo Ann.

 Following their wedding, the couple returned to Illinois until October 25, 1944, when Delbert was drafted into the United States Army. After his honorable discharge, Delbert accepted a job with Pauley Furniture, and they relocated to Harlan, Iowa, for a short time before purchasing a café and tavern in Panama. The establishment, known as Kohles Café, kept Sally busy making homemade pies and dinners every day. Delbert and Sally operated the café until 1963, when they moved to San Bruno, California, where Delbert was employed by the U.S. Postal Service.

 While living in California, Sally worked for Skyline Donut Shop in San Bruno and the Lake Merced Country Club in San Francisco before accepting a position at Skyline Community College in San Bruno. The couple returned to Iowa and made their home in Panama after Delbert’s retirement in 1977. Sally then worked as a cook for the Gold Slipper in Dunlap, Iowa, until her retirement. Sally was a great cook and loved to bake bread. She also enjoyed quilting and made many hand-stitched quilts.

 In 2004, Sally became a resident of the Elm Crest Assisted Living facility in Harlan. Sally died on Monday, March 26, 2007, at Myrtue Medical Center in Harlan, Iowa, having attained the age of eighty-six years and nine months. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Delbert, three brothers: Archbishop Leo Arkfeld, Vince Arkfeld, and Clem Arkfeld, and three sisters: Florence Ohlinger, Lucille Arkfeld, and Mary Arkfeld.

 Sally is survived by her children: Gary and his wife Beverly Kohles of Portsmouth, Iowa; Karen and her husband Alf Wingert of Panama, Iowa; Carol and her husband Phil Wegner of Panama; Jerome "Speed" and his wife Connie Kohles of Harlan, Iowa; Michael and his wife Janet Kohles of Rancho Cordova, California; Joe and his wife Janet Kohles of Panama; Ron and his wife Meg Kohles of Panama; and Jo Ann and her husband Joseph "Jay" Townsend of Wawa, Pennsylvania; thirty-one grandchildren; fifty-three great-grandchildren; two sisters: Rita and her husband John Kelley of Woodbine, Iowa and Sylvia and her husband Jerry Bissen of Earling, Iowa; and one brother George and his wife Josephine Arkfeld of Oceanside, California; nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

 A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday, March 28, 2007. Rev. John Dorton officiated the 11:00 AM service at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Panama, Iowa. Serving as casket bearers were John Kohles, Dan Wingert, Jeff Kohles, David Kohles, Steve Wegner, Dennis Kohles, Robert Wegner, Joe Townsend, Marvin Kohles, Glenn Wingert, Patrick Kohles, and John Townsend. AVOCA—Clarence J. Arkfeld, 83, Avoca [Iowa], died Wednesday, Aug. 13 at Myrtue Memorial Hospital in Harlan.

Services will be held Saturday, Aug. 16 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Harlan with burial in the Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery at Defiance. A rosary will be held Friday, Aug. 15 at 7 p.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home by the Knights of Columbus. Visitation is Friday from 8 a.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Arkfeld is survived by his wife, Anna Marie Arkfeld, of Harlan; daughters Delores "Dee" (Ken) Hoffman of Omaha and Mary Lee (Doug) Passmore of Omaha; sons Ronald (Jan) Arkfeld of Defiance, Gerald "Jerry" (Carolyn) Arkfeld of Omaha, Dennis (Char) Arkfeld of Defiance, David (Sue) Arkfeld of Omaha, Joseph (Mary) Arkfeld of Omaha and Mark (Lori) Arkfeld of Defiance; 24 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and six stepgrandchildren.

David George Arkfeld (1957-1957)

David George, son of Mr and Mrs George Arkfeld Jr. of St. Paul, Minnesota was born January 31, 1957 and died May 18, 1957 at the age of 3 months and 18 days from amyotonia, which caused the respiratory system to fail.

The O Halloran-Murphy Funeral Home of St Paul was in charge.

Mass of Angels was offered in the chapel of St Thomas college, 7:30 Tuesday morning, May 21. The burial of little children was at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Burial was in the Fort Snelling National cemetery in Minneapolis with the army Chaplin and two priests from St Thomas college officiating.

He is survived by his parents, Mr and Mrs George Arkfeld Jr. of St. Paul, Minnesota, his grandparents, Mr and Mrs George Arkfeld Sr. of Panama, Iowa and Mr and Mrs L.A. Funk of Portsmouth, Iowa and many uncles and cousins.

DEFIANCE—Linda Boje Arkfeld, 58, Defiance [Iowa], died at her home Thursday, Feb. 16.

Services were held Monday, Feb. 20 at 11 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Defiance with burial in the Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Defiance.

Arkfeld is survived by her husband, Robert, of Defiance; mother Mary (Dinan) Boje of Harlan; daughters Amy Jo (James) McCallan of Harlan, Heather (Jeff) Fineran of Manilla and Jill Arkfeld of Defiance; sons Robert (Karen) Arkfeld, Jr. of Manilla and Jon (Jami) Arkfeld of Defiance; sister Bev (Hans) Mayerhofer of Placerville, Calif.; brothers Brian Boje of Appleton, Wi. and Scott (Sheila) Boje of Kirkman; and 13 grandchildren.

A wake for Loretta Alig Wittrock, 88, of Okarche will be 7 p.m. today at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Okarche. Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the church. The Rev. Marvin Leven and Deacon Max Schwarz will officiate the rosary. The Revs. Stephen Bird and Edward Weisenburger and Deacon Max Schwarz will officiate. Burial will be at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Okarche. Arrangements are by Sanders Funeral Service.

She was born March 19, 1916, in Okarche to George and Katherine Alig and died Monday, Dec. 27, 2004, at Cimarron Nursing Center in Kingfisher.

She received a bacherlor’s degree from Central State Teachers College in 1936. She married Cletus H. Wittrock July 30, 1941. They farmed in the Okarche area.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and Holy Trinity Altar Society.

Surviving are her husbnad, Cletus of the home; three daughters, Rose Cook, Juanita Krittenbrink and Louise Craig; a son, James Wittrock; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.

Florence Mary Ohlinger, 91, of Harlan [Iowa] died Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2006 at Myrtue Memorial Hospital in Harlan.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, at St. Michael Church in Harlan with the Rev. Robert Hoefler officiating.  

Burial will be in Harlan Cemetery.

Visitation will be form 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., a rosary will be prayed at 3 p.m. and a wake will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at Pauley Jones Funeral HOme in Harlan.  

Mrs. Ohlinger was a homemaker.

Mrs. Ohlinger was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and George Arkfeld; her husband, Jacob Ohlinger; a son, Cletus Ohlinger; two sisters: Lucille Arkfeld and Mary Arkfeld; and two brothers: Archbishop Leo Arkfeld and Vince Arkfeld.

Sylvia Mary Bissen was born on May 24, 1928, to George and Mary (Seimer) Arkfeld in Panama, Iowa. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Panama and attended both elementary and high school at St. Mary’s Catholic School. After graduation, she attended St. Scholastica College in Atchinson, Kansas.

 She was united in marriage to Gerald J. Bissen on February 16, 1949 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Panama. Nine children were born to this union: Lora, Bette, Bob, Peg, Jim, Dale, Jerry, Chris, and Ron. She taught school for one year in Kirkman, Iowa before staying home with her children.

 Sylvia was a loving and devoted mother and was involved in 4-H as a leader. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court St. Katherine, #266 of Earling, Iowa, and was an Archdiocese Board Member.

 Her hobbies include playing cards and bingo with her friends, crocheting, quilting, baking, and gardening. She enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren at their sporting events.

 Sylvia died at Jennie Edmundson Memorial Hospital on Sunday, December 28, 2008, having attained the age of eighty years, seven months, and four days. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers and sisters: Archbishop Leo Arkfeld, Florence Ohlinger, Sally Kohles, Vince Arkfeld, Clem Arkfeld, Lucille Arkfeld and Mary Arkfeld.

 She is survived by her husband of fifty-nine years, Gerald Bissen of Earling, Iowa; her children: Lora and her husband Tom Heit of Evansdale, Iowa, Bette and her husband Steve Sheeran of Seattle, Washington, Bob Bissen and his wife Mary of Earling, Peg and her husband Mike Shappell of Loxahatchee, Florida, Jim Bissen and his wife Carla of Mesa, Arizona, Dale Bissen and his wife Julie of Woodbury, Minnesota, Jerry Bissen and his wife Lynn of Harlan, Iowa, Chris and her husband Dave Blum of Glenwood, Iowa, and Ron Bissen and his wife Melissa of Westminster, Maryland; twenty-four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister Rita and her husband John Kelly of Woodbine, Iowa; brother George Arkfeld of Oceanside, California; sisters-in-law: Mick Arkfeld, Carm Flickinger, Sally Smith, and Kathleen Bissen; nieces and nephews; other family members and many friends.

 A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 with Rev. Tom Coenen celebrating and Rev. Vince Ohlinger concelebrating the 10:30 AM service at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Earling, Iowa. Casket bearers were Michael Bissen, Randy Bissen, Logan Shappell, Eric Blevins, Tommy Heit, and Robbie Bissen. Interment was held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Earling, Iowa.

Michael Wayne Stroud, 52, lifelong resident of Okarche, died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010, at his home.

A wake service was held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Okarche with Deacon Max Schwarz officiating. Mass of Christian Burial was at 10 a.m. Friday at the church with the Revs. David Lafferty and Marvin Levin officiating. Arrangements are under direction of Sanders Funeral Service in Kingfisher.

He was born July 21, 1958, in Okarche to Raymond and Alice Smith Stroud.

He graduated from Okarche High School. He received a bachelor of arts degree from Oklahoma State University in agriculture economics.

He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association, Phi Kappa Theta at OSU and past president of the Okarche Rural Water Board.

Survivors include his parents; three sisters, Anita Marie Evans and husband Joseph II of Albuquerque, N.M., Denise Kay Stroud and husband Larry Job of Keystone, S.D., and Dr. Beverly Jean Warden EdD and husband Jerry of Alva, and one brother, Jack Stroud and wife Shelley Benz of Frisco, Texas.

Betty Ann Brashear

Betty Ann Wittrock Brashear, 56, of Okarche, died early Sunday, Jan. 17 at home. She had been ill the past two years with cancer.

Mass of Christian burial was Jan. 19 at Holy Trinity Church.

Mrs. Brashear was born Dec. 14, 1936, at Okarche, a daughter of Frank and Barbara Wittrock. After graduation from Holy Trininty School, she was employed at the Oklahoma State Capitol.

On Oct. 2, 1969, she married Dr. Jay H. Brashear and moved to the community of Okemah.

She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Wittrock.

She is survived by her husband, Jay Brashear of Okemah; her mother, Barbara Wittrock of Oklahoma City; sister, Geneva Ryan and her husband, Jerry of Newport Beach, Calif; brothers, Robert Wittrock and wife, Janet of Oklahoma City and Charles Wittrock and wife, Mary of Denver, Colo.; and six nieces and nephews.
