Mother of Henry Herbers Dies in Ohio

Mrs. Jennie Herbers, 86, Loraine, Ohio, formerly of Stuart, Neb., died April 25. Funeral services were held April 29 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Boniface Church in Stuart with Father Paschang officiating. Burial was in the Parish Cemetery. She was the mother of Henry Herbers of Lusk.

Survivors include six sons, Alphonse of Oceanside, Calif.; Edward of San Diego, Calif., Al of San Francisco, Calif., Henry of Lusk, Raymond of Spokane, Wash. and Robert of Elyria, Ohio; three daughters, Mrs. Louise Lovett of Sturgeon, Mo., Mrs. Frances Scruggs of Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Rose Chase of Kent, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Alvis Stallman of Pittsburg, Tex., and a sister, Mrs. Virgil Cromwell of Azusa, Calif.

Services for Henry "Heine" J. Herbers, 79, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, 1991, in the Peet Mortuary Chapel in Lusk with the Pastor Paul Hebbert officiating. Burial will follow in the Lusk Cemetery.

Herbers died Friday, Aug. 16, 1991, at the Niobrara County Memorial Hospital. He was born March 29, 1912 at Petersburg, Neb., to Henry J. and JoHanna (Stallman) Herbers. He grew up in Stuart, Neb. As a young man he moved to Iowa where he worked on a farm. In 1938, he moved to Wyoming and was a ranch hand on many places, including the Tim Divine Ranch, Billy Miller Ranch, Henry Petz Ranch, Dan Hanson's parents' ranch, Ben and Mary Spaethe Ranch and Henry and Elizabeth Kaan Ranch and Len Christians Ranch (local ranchers at the time).

He married Eva Hortense May 4, 1943 in Gering, Neb. He and his wife kept house on the Horseshoe Ranch for a time. He later worked at The Lutheran Hospital Home Society in Lusk for 22 years until his retirement in 1975 due to health reasons.

He helped build the Open Bible Church in Lusk and served as secretary/treasurer of the Sunday School for 10 years. He gave his heart to Jesus on April 9, 1949.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Al, Alphonse and Edward.

Survivors include his wife, Eva, of Lusk; two brothers, Robert (Mary Ann) of Nashville, Tenn., Raymond (Jean) of Spokane, Wash.; three sisters, Louise Lovett of Sturgeon, Mo., Frances Scruggs of Portland, Ore. and Rose Chase of Kent, Ohio and nephew and nieces.

Funeral services for Vera Eva Herbers, 82, were Feb. 1, 1997, at the Bader Funeral Home in Lusk with the Rev. Larry Bartlett and the Rev. Frank Bozart officiating. Burial followed in the Lusk Cemetery. Memorials are to Southern Baptist Church or the Lusk Senior Center.

She died Jan. 28, 1997, at the Niobrara County Memorial Hospital in Lusk. She was born Dec. 11, 1914, in Pennsylvania, to Charles and Chattie Hortense.

She was raised in Frederick, Colo., and moved to Lusk when she was a young woman. She worked as a cook on many area ranches, including the Joss Ranch, and she also cooked at the hospital in Lusk for several years.

She married Henry J. Herbers May 4, 1943, in Gering, Neb. He preceded her in death in 1991.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and two brothers.

Jacob "Jake" Stallman (1891-1969)

Theodore Jacob (Jake) Stallman, 78, died last Thursday at the Torrington Hospital. Funeral services were conducted from the Peet Mortuary in Lusk Monday at 2:00 p.m. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery. The Rev. Fred Bolinger of the First Baptist Church of Lusk officiated.

Mrs. Richard Korns of Manville was organist and accompanied Mrs. A. F. DeCastro and Mrs. Dean Glandt as they sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and "In The Garden."

Casketbearers were Frank Mahnke, Joe Traphagan, Jennings Ruffing, Ab DeCastro, Ray Morris and L. T. Bonner.

He was born May 3, 1891, at Raeville, Neb. As a young man he came to Manville with three brothers, Barney, Joe and Alvis, and homesteaded northwest of Manville. May 21, 1912, he married Edna Keithly in Lusk. After living in Manville for several years they moved to Lusk where he operated a potato chip business for a number of years and later carried railroad freight.

Survivors include Mrs. Edna Stallman of Torrington; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Beverly) Hoy of Lance Creek and Mrs. David (Betty) Boston of Hennessey, Okla.; two sisters, Mrs. Regina Crowell and Mrs. Jeanne Herbers, both of California.; one brother. Alvis Stallman of Pittsburg, Tex.; three granddaughters, four grandsons.

 

Many Relatives Here for Stallman Funeral

Deepest sympathy is extended to the Richard Hoy family and Mrs. David Boston and family of Hennesey, Okla., former residents, on the death of the women's father, Jake Stallman, in Torrington last Thursday.

Funeral services were held Monday in Lusk at the Peet Mortuary. Relatives attending were Mrs. Edna Stallman of Torrington, Mr. and Mrs. Boston, Ramona and David, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hoy and family, Mrs. Mary Moore and Mrs. Mary Francis Bundros, Linda, Mike and Steve, all of Denver, Helen McCormick of Scottsbluff, Mr. and Mrs.Jim Stallman, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Herbers and David Stallman.

Mr. Stallman homesteaded south and west of Lance Creek.

Mr. and Mrs. Boston, Ramona and David arrived here early Sunday after flying to Denver. They left Tuesday to return to Denver for the plane trip home. While here they stayed with Mr.and Mrs. Richard Hoy and family. The ladies are sisters.

Bernard Heinrich "Barney" Stallman (1885-1967)

Funeral services for Barney Henry Stallman, 81, a resident of Niobrara County since 1914, were held from the Peet Chapel in Lusk Friday morning. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery. Mr. Stallman died in the Niobrara Memorial Hospital August 15.

Father Tracy of St. Leo's Catholic church of Lusk officiated. Music was furnished by Mrs. A. F. DeCastro.

Casket bearers were Dick Lee, Jim McAllister, Dick Heine, Bill Nuttal, Dave Bryant and Bud Hoblit.

He was born October 19, 1885 at Templeton, Iowa. He homesteaded at Keeline in 1914. Mr. Stallman married Hattie Bridge, September 14, 1918.

Survivors include his widow, Hattie, one daughter, Mrs. Dale Anderson, Riverton; five sons, Clyde of Broadus, Mont., Jim of Jackson, Dale of Sheridan, John and Willis of Lusk, one brother, Jake of Torrington and a sister Regina Crowel of Azusa, Calif.; and numerous grandchildren.

Dale B. Stallman (1920-1989)

Services for Dale B. Stallman, age 69, was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the Peet Mortuary Chapel. Rev. Scott Grimshaw officiated. Burial followed in the Dell View Cemetery at Manville, Wyoming.

Mr. Stallman died Wednesday, March 1, 1989, at the V. A. Hospital in Sheridan. He was born January 8, 1920, near Manville, Wyoming, the son of Barney and Hattie Bridge Stallman. He attended grade school at the Stallman School located between the Horseshoe Ranch and the Stallman ranch, and attended high school in Manville. After school he worked for the Horseshoe Ranch and later joined the C.C.C. Camp. He entered the National Guard on September 6, 1940, and was discharged from the service on September 9, 1945.

He then worked for Rocky Mountain Pipeline for a period of time before moving to Sheridan where he had lived for the last 35 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Survivors include: three brothers, John and Willis of the family ranch near Manville, and Jim of Lusk; one sister Anne Anderson of Riverton; and many other relatives and friends.

Edna Keithley (1897-1989)

Edna Stallman, 92, a resident of Gillette, Wyo. and a former longtime Lusk resident, passed away Monday July 17, 1989, at the Pioneer Manor Nursing Home in Gillette.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 20, 1989, at 10:30 a.m. at the Blanche Beck Memorial Chapel at the Pioneer Manor Nursing Home in Gillette. Pastor Jack Hopper of the Northside Baptist Church will officiate. Interment and graveside services will take place at 3 p.m. at the Lusk Cemetery.

Mrs. Stallman was born on June 16, 1897, on the 77 Ranch near Lance Creek to George Converse [Keithley] and Emma Jane Hitchue (Hitshew) Keithley. She grew up and attended schools in Lusk.

On May 21, 1915, she married Jacob Theodore Stallman in Lusk. They lived and raised their family in Lusk. At one time, Mr. and Mrs. Stallman manufactured and produced Gold Nugget Potato Chips. They did this for many years up until Mr. Stallman's health forced them to retire in the late 1940s.

Mrs. Stallman later lived in nursing homes in Torrington and Lusk prior to moving into the Pioneer Manor in Gillette in 1980.

She was a member of the Baptist Church and her favorite time was spent gardening, raising flowers, cooking for others and crocheting. Her true pride and joy in life were her grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

She is survived by two daughters, Beverly Jean Hoy of Gillette and Betty Jane Boston of Hennessey, Okla.; a sister, Mary Moore of Denver, Col.; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, four brothers and three sisters.

Memorials may be made to the Pioneer Manor Nursing Home in Gillette.

Frances Allene Lind (1926-1989)

Graveside serviced for Frances Allene (Lynn) Stallman will be held Friday, Sept. 8 at 10 a.m. at the Lusk Cemetery. She was born Nov. 26, 1928 to Victor H. and Christina (Ray) Lind in Denver, Colorado. Lynn moved to Wyoming in 1951 where she married James L. Stallman.

She was a member of order Eastern Star Chapter #26 Niobrara. She was preceded in death by her father, step mother, mother and sister. She is survived by two sons Bob Whitbeck of Glendale, Ariz. and Willis J. Stallman of Bakersfield, Calif. Seven grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.

Hattie Bridge (1893-1986)

Memorial services for Hattie B. Stallman, 92, were held Tuesday, Apr. 15 at Peet Mortuary Chapel in Lusk.

She died Friday, Apr. 11 at the Niobrara Memorial Nursing Home where she had been a resident since 1978. Rev. Mark Lohr officiated at the service with burial following in the Lusk Cemetery.

Hattie Bridge Stallman was born Dec. 11, 1893 at St. Libory, NE, the daughter of Frank and Anna Bridge. She filed for her own homestead near Manville in December 1913 and spent the next few months cooking for sheep shearing crews and sleeping on the ground in a tepee.

In April 1914, she moved on her homestead when her house was built. Truly a pioneer woman, she recalled getting her water from a nearby creek in barrels.

She married Barney Stallman on Sept. 14, 1918. He preceded her in death in 1967. She was also preceded in death by her parents, eight brothers, one sister and a son, Clyde.

Survivors include four sons, Jim, Willis and John, all of Lusk, and Dale of Sheridan; one daughter, Mrs. Dale Anderson of Riverton; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

James Lewis Stallman (1926-1996)

James Lewis Stallman, 70, died July 16, 1996, at Niobrara County Memorial Hospital. Services were at Bader Funeral Home Friday, July 19. Burial was at the Lusk Cemetery. Memorials are to the Niobrara County High School wrestling program.

He was born Feb. 16, 1926, in Manville to Barney and Hattie (Bridge) Stallman. He attended Manville High School and later worked for the Joss Ranch. In 1944, he joined the army and served in the Philippines during World War II. In 1952, he met Francis Lind and they married in 1953. He actively worked in the oil field from 1950 until 1987. After his retirement, he continued his favorite pastime of ranching and being with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; brothers Clyde and Dale; and sister Annie Anderson. Survivors include son Willis of Lusk; step-son Bob Whitbeck of Phoenix, Ariz.; brothers John and Willis; and grandchildren Jason, Tyler, Jessica, Kendra and Kyle, all of Lusk and Jeff and Jan Whitbeck.

John Robert Stallman (1922-2000)

Memorial services for John Robert Stallman were held Saturday, May 27 at the Sheridan Wesleyan Church with the Rev. Chuck Lucas officiating.

Graveside services were held Sunday May 28 at the Manville Cemetery.

John died May 24, 2000 at the VA Medical Center of complications from a stroke.

He was born September 12, 1922 near Manville to Barney and Hattie (Bridge) Stallman.

He attended the Stallman School and graduated from Manville High School. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II from May 1943 to February 1946 as a bomber mechanic.

After the war, he worked as a seismographer throughout Wyoming. He was employed at the Lance Creek oil fields and the Joss ranches before returning to the family ranch in the early 1950's.

He was active in ranching until he moved to Sheridan in 1993.

He enjoyed electronics, mechanics, playing his guitar and irrigating the sagebrush after every rain storm.

Survivors include a brother, Willis R. Stallman, Lusk; one son David Stallman and his wife and two grandchildren, all of Sheridan.

Memorial may be made to either the Sheridan Senior Center or the Lusk Senior Center, in care of Delphine Toner.

Clyde C Stallman (1928-1986)

Memorial services for Clyde C. Stallman, 57, were held Saturday, Apr. 3 at the Lusk Cemetery with Rev. Mark Lohr officiating.

Stallman who died Tuesday, Mar. 31 at the VA Hospital in Hot Springs, S.D., was born Apr. 29, 1928 in Manville. He was the son of Barnie and Hattie Stallman.

After attending Stallman country Grade School and Manville High School, he worked in oil field before serving in the army from 1950 to 1952. Upon his discharge, he returned to Lusk and continued working in the oil industry.

Stallman also spent 15 years working the oil fields at Kimball, NE. He married Jacqueline Dunning on July 19, 1973 in Newcastle. He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline, and his mother Hattie Stallman, both of Lusk, one daughter, Bonnie Scott of Rock Springs, WY., one son, Lloyd Stallman of Rawlins, WY, two step-daughters, Judith Cook of Greeley, Co and Marie Rudloff of Chadron, NE, two step-sons, James D. Wold of Greeley, CO, and Staff Sgt. Michael Wold of Ft. Benning, GA.

Other survivors are four brothers, Dale Stallman of Sheridan, WY, John and Willis Stallman both of Manville, and James Stallman of Lusk, one sister, Anna Anderson of Riverton, WY, three grandchildren and 10 step-grandchildren, plus numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Anna Mae Anderson, 69, of Riverton, formerly of Manville were held Friday, Nov. 2 at 2 p.m. at Davis Funeral Home in Riverton with Rev. Doug Peck of the First Baptist Church of Shoshoni officiating. Burial was in Mt. View Cemetery.

Anderson died Oct. 30, 1990 in Riverton Memorial Hospital. She was born Dec. 23, 1920 to Barney and Hattie (Bridge) Stallman in Manville, Wyo. She married Dale Anderson in Laramie in 1941 and moved to Riverton in 1962. She taught in a one-room school house near Manville prior to her move to Riverton. Her husband preceded her in death in 1979.

She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and taking care of children.

She is survived by her sons; Gene Anderson of Denver, and Danny Anderson of Riverton; her daughter, Linda Kierstead of Riverton; six grandchildren; and three brothers; Jim Stallman, Lusk; Wilis Stallman and John Stallman, both of Manville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one son Gary, in 1987, and two brothers, Clyde Stallman and Dale Stallman.

Memorial to the Cancer Fund in lieu of flowers would be appreciated by the family.

Gary A. Anderson (1944-1987)

Gary A. Anderson, 43, of Fort Collins, died Oct. 28 in Fort Collins, CO. He was born June 13, 1944 in Lusk, WY to Dale and Anna (Stallman) Anderson. In 1961 he moved to Riverton with his family, where they managed a Texaco station.

On June 29, 1965 he married Ethel Kay Pheasant in Riverton, WY. Moving from Denver to Fort Collins 14 years ago, Mr. Anderson was an auto mechanic, working with Sears Automotive in Denver and Fort Collins for 22 years.

Survivors include his wife, Ethel Kay; one son, Dale; one daughter, Cheryl Anderson, all of Fort Collins; his mother, Anna Anderson of Riverton; two brothers, Gene Anderson of Denver and Dan Anderson of Wray; one sister Linda Kierstead of Riverton.

The body was cremated, with interment of cremains at Roselawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Gary A. Anderson Memorial Fund in care of Warren-Bohlender Funeral Chapel.

Willis Ross Stallman (1933-2003)

Military graveside services for former Manville and Lusk resident, Willis Ross Stallman, 69, were held Jan. 3, 2003, at the Manville Cemetery with Pastor Jason Playle and the National Guard officiating.

Stallman died Dec. 30, 2002, at the Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital in Thermopolis.

He was born in Manville on June 11, 1933, the son of Barney Henry and Hattie (Bridge) Stallman. He received his early schooling in a one room country school, Stallman School, and then went to High School at Manville.

He joined the U.S. Army on April 14, 1953, and was honorably discharged on March 30, 1955. He then worked in the oilfields in Wyoming, Nebraska, and Colorado as a roughneck-derrick hand for approximately 30 years.

As a young man he enjoyed sketching Western scenes, hunting, had a passion for raising and riding horses, and "living free."

Willis is preceded in death by his parents, Barney and Hattie; four brothers, Dale, John, Jim and Clyde; one sister Annie Anderson; and one nephew Gary Anderson.

He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held for Betty Boston, 76, Sept. 19 at Hennessey Cemetery. Rev. Robyn Thompson-Groggs officiated. Arrangements were under the direction of Cordry Gritz Funeral Home.

Betty died Sept. 5, at Integris Bass Baptist Hospital.

She was born Sept. 6, 1927, in Manville to Jacob and Edna Keithly Stallman.

She married David Boston on Dec. 24, 1947, in Lance Creek. She was a member of the First Methodist Church. Betty graduated with the class of 1946. She worked at the Lusk Hospital as a nurse's aid in the summers and after school She loved the work and always wanted to go to nursing school. Upon her children's graduation she fulfilled this dream and went to school to earn her LPN license. She then worked as an LPN for several years at Bass Baptist Hospital in Enid.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Boston in 1979.

Surviving are one daughter, Ramona and husband Joseph of Norman, Okla.; one son, David Boston and wife Debe of Eureka , Calif.; one sister, Beverly Hoy and Husband Richard of Jay Em; four grandchildren, Megan, Michael, Jennifer Rarick of Norman, Okla. and Angel Boston of Eureka, Calif.; two great grandchildren , Moriah Maxwell and Laila Jane, Ann Mianes.

Betty's grandchildren were the joy of her life. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

James A. "Jim" Osback of Riverton died Friday, April 1, 2005 at Wind River Healthcare in Riverton. He was 61 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 7, at the Davis Funeral Home of Riverton. Rev. Earl Detwiler will officiate. Cremation has taken place, and inurnment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Riverton.

James A. Osback was born Sept. 25, 1943, in Lusk, the son of Joe F. Osback and Helen W. (Stallman) Osback.

On July 7, 1968, he married Sharon Biffar in Torrington. They lived in Scottsbluff, Neb., from 1969 to 1974, and then moved to Riverton in 1976.

Mr. Osback was a Riverton businessman, owner of the Windshield Doctor.

His family said he enjoyed cars, liked going to car shows and showing his Corvette, and loved his dog, Bud.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Sharon Osback of Riverton; two sons, Travis Osback and fiance Jolene of Riverton, and Jason Osback of Greeley, Colo.; two grandchildren, Talon and Taylor; his mother, Helen Higgs of Riverton; his father-in-law, Jim Biffar of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; a brother, Chuck Osback and his wife Dianne of Torrington; a sister-in-law, Donna Rae Bartee of Fort Walton Beach; and three nephews, Brady Osback of Denver, Casey Osback of Carter, S.D., and David Fales of Torrington.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Osback; a nephew, Dee Fales; and his mother-in-law, Margaret Biffar.

Funeral services for Joseph Stallman were conducted Tuesday afternoon at Columbia Falls Methodist Church with the Rev. Fred Gaston officiating. Interment followed in the Woodland Cemetery in Columbia Falls with Jim Graham, E.D. Peterson, Al Scholz, George Harrington, Elmer Kiser , and A. Klingenberg as honorary pallbearers. Active pallbearers were Wade McGill, Orville Aaberg, Burt Carlson, Ervin Kiser, Bill Emerson, and Walter Jungst.

Joseph Stallman was born Aug. 1, 1887, at Petersburg, Neb., to Bernard and Mary Wittrock Stallman. He attended public school in Petersburg and at the age of 17 he went to Omaha, Neb., where he was employed until prior to moving to Manville, Wyo., in 1904. In 1916 Mr. [Stallman] married Eva Thrasher at Cheyenne, Wyo., and they returned to Manville where he was engaged in trucking during the oil boom. Later he moved to a ranch where he was engaged in ranching and farming until 1934.

Mr. Stallman entered the theatre business following his retirement from ranching, and was in engaged in this business for 20 years before selling out and moving to Montana where he purchased and operated a motel at Columbia Falls for the past four years.

Surviving Mr. Stallman are his wife, Eva Stallman, at the family home in Columbia Falls; two daughters, Erma Riley of Lance Creek, Wyo., and Helen Lenhyart of Torrington, Wyo.; one son, Ervin J. Stallman of Wise River; three sisters, Mary Housh of Spirit Lake, Iowa, Jennie Herbers of Stuart, Neb., and Regina Crowell of Azusa, Calif.; two brothers, Al H. Stallman of Pittsburg, Texas, and Barney Stallman of Lusk, Wyo.

Mr. Stallman, 71, died in Whitefish Friday [Sept. 12].

Mrs. Eva Coulter, 82, State Route 40 East, Columbia Falls, died Friday morning in Whitefish.

Mrs. Coulter was born near Hastings, Neb., July 11, 1892, a daughter of Piney and Carrie Thrasher. When 15 years old, she started teaching in country schools in Nebraska and in 1914 moved to Niobrara County in Wyoming where she homesteaded and served as principal for a small academy.

She commuted by horseback between her homestead and school until 19196 when she was married to Joe Stallman. She continued to make her home in Wyoming until 1935 when she moved to Kansas. She later made her home in Nebraska and returned to Wyoming before moving to Columbia Falls in 1953 when she and her husband bought a small motel on State Route 40.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Stallman, in 1958. In 1961 she was married to Leroy Coulter and continued to make her home in Columbia Falls.

Mrs. Coulter is survived by her husband at their home in Columbia Falls; a son, Ervin Stallman of Wise River; two daughters, Mrs. Ray (Erma) Riley of Rose Bud, Ark., and Mrs. Walter (Helen) Higgs of Riverton, Wyo.; nine grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be a 2 p.m. Monday from the Van Leuven Funeral Chapel in Columbia Falls with Rev. Ralph Werner of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery.

Services for Sandra Kay Zimmerman, age 29, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24, 1989 in the Peet Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Glenn Bugher officiating. Burial will follow in the Lusk Cemetery.

Sandra died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 1989, in Cheyenne from injuries received from being struck by a car. She was born March 26, 1960, at Cozad, Neb., the daughter of Harold Lee and Orvilla Darlene (Fanter) Zimmerman.

She attended schools in Cozad, North Platte, and Mitchell, Neb., and Torrington, Wyo.

She married Robert Green Jr. on Nov. 27, 1975, at Morrill, Neb. To this union two daughters were born KaSaundra Kay and Mandy Mae. On Feb. 2, 1985, she married Lloyd C. Stallman at Lusk. To this union one daughter was born, Dawn Denise.

Sandra was a avid ABATE supporter and attended all the poker and support runs for the Lusk Headstart, the Niobrara Nursing Home and the Christmas Toy Run, and anywhere else she was able to go. Sandra had an enormous host of friends and helped anyone in need.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Cassie and Walter Fanter, and by her paternal grandparents, Lillian and John Zimmerman.

Survivors include her three daughters, KaSaundra and Mandy of Torrington and Dawn of Lusk; her parents, Darlene and Dennis Gulley of Lusk and Harold and Dora Zimmerman of Crosbyton, Texas; 15 brothers and sisters, Brad and Betty Zimmerman of Apachie Junction, Ariz.; Doug and Linda Zimmerman of Great Falls, Mont.; Rhonda and Frankie Woyak, Cassie and Ray Oaks, Dennis Gulley Jr., Kevin Gulley, Johnna Zimmerman, and Duane Messmer all of Torrington; Carey Gulley and Robert Lopas serving with the U.S. Army in Germany; Justin Gulley of Lusk; Abbie, Adela, Anna, Vera and Petra Lopaz all of Crosbyton, Texas; Cindy and Tom Collins of Wheatland; Robert Heth and Esther Ommens of Lusk; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, several foster-brothers and sisters, and her special friend and sidekick, Duane Predmore of Lusk.

Memorials to the family or to ABATE of Wyoming in care of Jim McNeil. P.O. Box 692, Lusk, Wyoming, will be appreciated by the family.

An ABATE motorcycle escort preceded the procession to the cemetery.
