The young women in this photo are six of the twelve daughters of Franz Joseph Nieland (1882-??) and Antonette Rommerswinkel (1888-1945). They also had three sons.

Left to right: Antonie (Nieland) Dorsthorst (1918-2009), Paula (Nieland) Michel, Gisela (Nieland) Greimann (1926-1994), Walburga (Nieland) Kentgens, Gertrude (Nieland) Böckenhüser, and Margaret (Nieland) Fronczek (1931-1964).
