Family Holds Happy Family Reunion
The
Breda News, June, 1928
The
Henry Nieland home was the scene of a very happy family reunion
the past week. Since Mrs. Nieland underwent an operation in St.
Anthony's hospital, all the children have been home for a visit.
Following are the names of the children and their respective homes:
Henry, who is employed at the Ludwig farm; Mary, Mrs. Ferd Steinkamp,
and Frank Nieland who live north of Breda; Mrs. Margaret Mueggenborg
of Okarche, Okla.; Sister M. Florina, who is employed as superintendent
of nurses, Sparta, Wis.; Wm. D. Nieland of near Carroll; B.A.
Nieland residing north of Breda; Sister M. Sigmunda of the Rosary
high school faculty, Bozeman, Mont.; Rose, Mrs. Joe Wittrock of
Okarche, Okla.; Bertha, Mrs. Arthur Braun of LeMars; Ann, Mrs.
J.J. Wittry of Lidderdale; Louis and Joe who reside north of town,
and Herman who is employed at the Schapman place.
Pleasant
visits have been exchanged between the respective members of the
family. This is the first time the family has been united for
many years and they took advantage of the occasion by having a
family picture taken
